A robbery suspect at a Family Dollar store in Ohio was fatally shot by a person at the store who had a concealed carry permit.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — A man with a concealed carry permit shot an attempted robber in the head in Cleveland Sunday while at a Family Dollar store.
Police in Cleveland report the incident occurred yesterday around 3 p.m. local time at a Family Dollar on West 117th and Bellaire Avenue.
Police are investigating the incident, and it appears the man with the CCW permit, who is not a store employee, exchanged gunfire with the alleged robbery suspect.
The man with the CCW permit was not hit, but the suspect suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was taken to a hospital.
